I.A.T.S.E. 667 Stills Photographer
I grew up in Chester, a charming little sailing village on the south shore of Nova Scotia. I fell in love with photography the first time I stepped foot in the dark room while attending NSCADU. Graduating with a bachelor of Fine Arts, major in photography, I set out for Edmonton, Alberta. After 8 years of prairie living and professionally shooting a wide range of subject matter from real estate, fashion, weddings, and pretty much everything in between, I made my way back to the east coast, on the Eastern Shore of N.S. I now focus on shooting in the film industry as a stills photographer, as well as shooting creative portraiture, commercial, weddings, and (on my down time) self portraits.
I am an extroverted introvert, a sensitive soul who excites over the little things in life, and takes notice to the details. I could never grow tired of staring at the ocean, or light hitting land at the end of the day. At any time of year you can find me at the beach. I live for travel and adventure and I am slowly checking off my must-see countries on the ol’ bucket list. I love being active, particularly amongst the great outdoors. I love fresh air, salt water, connecting with people, making music, painting, yoga, surfing, hiking, dogs, the smell of coconut, and the list goes on…
I live life behind a viewfinder. If I do not have my camera in hand I guarantee I am imagining a little box to frame daily sights and happenings. I love my job and can’t imagine myself doing anything else.
